10 out of 10 times - it's a lack of a plan.
Specifically, a BUSINESS PLAN!
How can you get somewhere if you have no idea HOW to get there? Better yet, how can you jump from A to Z without ANY STEPS IN THE MIDDLE???
Seeing Z is great, that's called a vision.
But knowing the steps, that's called a plan.
I'm blessed to speak with FABULOUS people on a regular basis who have some of the most extraordinary visions, they're willing to work, have thrown out their excuses but are going nowhere because they don't have a strategic plan.
Ask any SUCCESSFUL business owner and they will tell you a) they are successful because they have a plan and execute it OR b) they are successful by chance and are on the verge of a meltdown because of the stress, chaos and lack of direction because they don't have a plan.
Did you know that more than half of the companies on the Fortune 500 list this year began during a recession or bear market or both, according to a study by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. Now is the time to flourish, but you ain't gonna without a plan!
With a detailed business plan, you will accelerate success by prioritizing activities and action steps, preventing foolish spending due to lack of direction, staying motivated, conquering FEAR and finally SEEING all of the opportunities that are right in front of you.
Because I have a solid business plan, while everyone else is complaining, I simply see where the opportunities are. Without a plan, I'm 100% sure that I would NOT be able to see a thing - because my head would be too cloudy!

Many people say, "I want to be a millionaire". My question is HOW ARE YOU GOING TO DO IT? Wanting isn't enough! Seeing yourself rolling around in piles of money ain't gonna do it! And neither is saying a millionaire affirmation 100 times a day!
And if by some freak of nature, you receive a million dollars, without a plan - it will be gone in a matter of 2 years and you'll end up in MORE debt than ever before - according to EVERY study of lottery winners (over 90% of all winners fall into this category).
